Dionisio González, with a digital photography, multimedia and cinema/ TV art background holds a Professorship at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Seville. Continuously granted, price winning and travelling since the 90s respectively 2001, his work has been exhibited in many prestigious institutions, Biennales and museums, including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland, USA, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Bordeaux, France, the Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid, the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, the Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá (MAMBO), Bogotá, Colombia, the Museo de Arte de Sao Paulo (MASP), Sao Paulo, Brasil, and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCCA), Toronto, Canada. González carefully exercised photomontages present futuristic yet sometimes brutalistic architectural solutions to living conditions in different landscapes, urban environments  –  always proposing possible solutions in reaction to (man made) natural disasters.
